first roll

last christmas my sister gifted me a pentax k1000. i've been having so much fun using it. after about 5 or 6 rolls piled up i finally had one developed, and boy was i disappointed haha. i obviously have no idea what i'm doing. and i thought i was doing a good job reading the manual. ooh well, i have lots to learn! here are a handful...

not so springy outfit

i was inspired by the cutely dressed people on lookbook last night and threw this together. i really love it! i think i'm finally honing in on my personal style. which is a good thing 'cause it makes shopping easier.

boyfriend belt. oroshi cardigan. mens brown plaid shirt. cable knit knee high socks. katie vintage leather bag. cream lace crochet dress. satin khaki boots.

skirts & pouches

my sister loved her skirt. as did i, so i made another one. i also made a zippered pouch with some scraps i had lying around, this time i sewed the lining correctly. i didn't care for it as much but my mom gladly volunteered to snag it. i DID however love the way the boxy zipper pouch turned out. i think i'll use it as my cosmetic bag. i'm excited that i get to start using my vintage hangers i thrifted a few weeks ago, they're the cutest little things.
